A HISTORY LESSON

As the kids grow older, it has been interesting to try to teach the kids about historical events. Even though I wasn't born yet, during the civil rights movement or Dr. Kings days, it is still one generation removed for me. With my kids, they are so far removed with this history it is hard for them to really connect the way I wish they would.
