BIG BELLY

Today Jaelin was helping Rej cook. Out of the blue, she said, "Mom, you have a big belly."

Silence.

"Are you having a baby?"

"Yes."

"Yaaaaaaaaaaay"



And thus begins a long pregnancy of questions, great interest and interruptions.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL

Last week I became a U.S. citizen. Yes, I passed the test, biometrics, homeland security interview, and renounced my allegiance to any other prince, or foriegn entity.

Sorry Canada.

JAMIE NEEDS A BIGGER TRAILER

If you have heard already, Jamie Lynn Spears (Briney's baby sister) is pregnant! She is four months pregnant. Word on the street is that big sis found out from the paparazzi. Ouch!

It looks like her baby will be due in June, same time of year as ours. Maybe we should invite them Sabbath School.

NIGHTIME WRITING

It is 8:21pm. The kids are sleeping. The wife is asleep. Sarah McLachlan is playing on the stereo as I write my dissertation. 2 1/2 chapters left. It is coming along quite well. I am beginning to see the light and the end.

WHILE I'VE BEEN AWAY

I have been taking a break from blogging. This is obvious since my last post was a month ago. I am finishing my doctoral dissertation. I have two more chapters to write, and two other chapters that are almost complete. I am trying to get it done by the end of January. The good news is all the research has been complete, and now it is just writing.

So, I won't be writing much, in the meantime. However, I thought I would share a few things that I have done in the last month, other than write.
